Its been a while

Well its been a busy couple of months and I just haven't stopped! It also means I haven't had much time for baking, although I did make some lovely valentines hearts and my new brand of Oat cookies recently.

What with holidays to go out, social engagements, planning my own wedding and work it really hasn't left me alot of time, plus a new addition to the family has kept us all very occupied!

I'm hoping to get some more baking done soon, plus the hubby to be has bought a nice new SLR camera so I'm hoping for some really good photos soon...

Wedding Cupcakes

I have a wedding booked in for April and sent a batch of cupcakes decorated in different styles to my customer, she loved so much much she could pick which one so she wants them all!!! I charge £1.50 for decorated cupcakes like this...

I have had so many people come to me lately asking for cakes for bithdays, weddings etc and the most important question is always 'How Much?'

It's very difficult to say because each cake is individually designed with the customers preferences. So I intend to create a web brochure with an assortment of cakes and cupcakes and the typical prices you can expect to pay. It may take me a few weeks to do but keep checking.

Ice Bucket Bunny

My latest creation, a proper girly girls birthday cake, this was for a friends girlfriends birthday, she was 22, and a girl after my own heart.... loves handbags and shoes!

She is also gluten and wheat free, but thats not a problem... who says you can't have wonderful cakes if you are gluten intolerant!!

Policeman Retires... but not without a cake!

A friend recently retired from the Police after 30years of service, I couldn't let him leave without making him a cake, it took me 4 days (inbetween work and late nights) to make the complete cake but I am well chuffed with the results.

I tried to make the policeman as lifelike to Alan as possible! Everything is edible but he took the policeman home to keep :-)

It was lovely to see his face, it reminds me why I love baking to see the look on peoples faces...
